BASIC’s third annual de Anza Golf Tournament & Charity Auction was held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the de Anza Desert Club in Borrego Springs. The event combines a day of golf with a dinner and a charity auction, and brings together community members, educators and supporters of BASIC’s work.

Proceeds from the tournament support BASIC’s year-round programs, including the student scholarship fund. Those scholarships go to Borrego Springs students starting or continuing their education after high school — many of them the first in their families to attend college.
The auction is stocked by donations from local businesses, regional organisations and individual supporters, who are recognised in the event’s materials and in BASIC’s follow-up communications.
