Cradle to Graduation (C2G)

Our early years programming begins with literacy. We place books in the hands of infants and toddlers, recognizing that early exposure to reading creates a foundation for lifelong learning. Through our partnerships with families and community organizations, we provide bilingual books, literacy activities, and parent engagement programs that foster a love of reading from the very beginning.

As students progress through elementary and middle school, C2G provides tutoring, homework support, and enrichment activities that help them stay on track academically. Our Learning Academy offers small group instruction, mentoring relationships with caring adults, and access to technology that level the playing field. We also ensure students have the practical support they need—nutritious meals, school supplies, and a safe space to study—so that barriers to learning don’t stand in the way of achievement.

By high school, C2G scholars are prepared to think boldly about their futures. We provide college and career preparation, scholarship support, and connections to opportunities that open doors to higher education and beyond. Our graduating seniors leave BASIC not just with a diploma, but with the confidence, skills, and network they need to pursue their dreams. For those who continue with BASIC’s scholarship program, we remain invested in their success through college and into their careers, celebrating their achievements and supporting them as they give back to the community.
