BASIC ya no es propietaria ni productora del C\u00edrculo de Arte.<\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"bb-st-deck wp-block-paragraph\">Tres becarios del programa BASIC que terminaron sus estudios universitarios durante la pandemia: una profesora de ingl\u00e9s como lengua extranjera que regres\u00f3 a la Academia de Aprendizaje de verano, una graduada con honores (magna cum laude) y un piloto comercial reci\u00e9n licenciado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group bb-st-lede is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<p class=\"bb-st-first wp-block-paragraph\">Cada a\u00f1o, desde hace 25 a\u00f1os, BASIC destina los fondos recaudados en el C\u00edrculo de Arte anual y otras actividades a sus programas de becas. BASIC ofrece dos tipos de becas: becas para iniciar estudios, dirigidas a graduados de secundaria que planean asistir a institutos t\u00e9cnicos, universidades de dos o cuatro a\u00f1os, y becas para continuar sus estudios, dirigidas a quienes siguen form\u00e1ndose y obtienen un t\u00edtulo universitario. Algunos incluso llegan a obtener una maestr\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A pesar de la pandemia y de todos los desaf\u00edos log\u00edsticos y financieros que implica estudiar en la aislada ciudad de Borrego Springs, muchos de nuestros estudiantes se graduaron el a\u00f1o pasado. \u00a1Los felicitamos por sus logros! Durante los pr\u00f3ximos meses, BASIC los invita a unirse a nosotros para rendirles homenaje. Estudi\u00e9 en SFSU para mi licenciatura y en USC para mi maestr\u00eda. Me especialic\u00e9 en ingl\u00e9s con \u00e9nfasis en educaci\u00f3n. El a\u00f1o pasado trabaj\u00e9 como profesora de ingl\u00e9s en la preparatoria Orange Glen, pero actualmente estoy solicitando empleo en otros lugares. Por segundo a\u00f1o consecutivo, trabajar\u00e9 como profesora de ingl\u00e9s como lengua extranjera (ELD) en la Academia de Aprendizaje de Verano de BASIC.
